General QUestions
What is a printable file or digital download?
A printable file or digital download is a digital file that you can access immediately via a direct download depending on the platform you purchased from. You may print these at home or easily upload them to your favorite print shop to print for your needs. All files are in PDF and PNG formats unless otherwise noted.
What software do I need for my files?
FOR EDITABLE ADOBE PDF FILES:
Please ONLY use THE LATEST version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and edit (where applicable) your files.
MAC USERS: Preview will NOT open your files correctly. Please download and use Adobe Acrobat Reader.

FOR EDITABLE CORJL FILES:
Once your purchase is finalized, you will receive a link to log into Corjl where you can access and edit your files without downloading any software!

Can I use/open/edit my files on a smartphone, tablet, Kindle, iPad or iPhone?
Yes and no. Your files will not be editable or work properly on these devices if you are editing or downloading an Adobe PDF. Some editing can be done on Corjl for certain files, but it is recommended for best results to always use a desktop or laptop computer.
Please use your desktop or laptop if you are uploading to an off-site print shop as file and print quality can suffer from time to time.
Will you print and ship to me?
Unfortunately, I am not providing direct printing and/or shipping services. All of these items are easy to upload and print at your convenience in your own home or at a copy shop of your choice. (eg. Staples, OfficeMax/Office Depot, etc.) You will also have a choice to print via Prints of Love on the Corjl platform when you are finished editing.

How long will I be able to keep my files?
Once you've paid for your files, they are yours as long as you use them for PERSONAL USE ONLY. There will be download limits and access times on certain Corjl files, so please remember to save your work to your computer!
Always save any Adobe PDF file to your computer as well for easy access.
Once I'm done with my item, can I share or sell the files?
No. You may print as many as you may need for your event, gift, etc., but you may not share or sell the digital files to family, neighbors, friends, etc. These are copyrighted items done with love and by purchasing them, it does not transfer that right.
I'm an Event Planner/Party Planner, can I redistribute or sell your files for my business?
No. You may print as many as you may need for your specific event, party, etc., but you may not send, sell or reuse the digital files for new clients and customers. Again, these are copyrighted items and by purchasing them, it does not transfer that right. You do not own the designs, only the use of the design for your event under copyright law.
Are you taking custom design requests?
Unfortunately, I have decided to no longer offer custom requests at this time so I can continue to create new items for you, however, I am always open to new product or theme ideas, so please feel free to share with me and I will add it to the design list!
General File Information:
*All files are formatted to fit on standard US letter size of 8.5" x 11". (these files can also be printed in A4 size for international customers.) If you need further customizing, please get in touch with me to see if this is possible.
*All files are in high quality, 300 dpi PDF format. Some files are editable. Others not. Please read each description carefully when you are purchasing.
*The Adobe PDF files are password protected to secure design format and text editing capabilities. This will NOT affect your printing or editing of the file if you open it with Adobe Reader's LATEST free version. The files used in Corjl will not have a password to edit.
*Colors may look different on computer screens, handheld devices, and from monitors to printers. Please keep this in mind. (More printing tips below.)
*The fonts are embedded in the files, no installation of fonts is necessary.
*You will not be able to edit any fonts, sizes, colors, or graphics on your items.

Where is the download link for my order?
If your order was an Instant Download via Etsy, your order can be found under your "Purchases and Reviews" page located in the drop-down menu at the top right-hand of the screen.
If you have an editable item, you will be directed to Corjl.com to personalize your item(s) with your order number from Etsy. Please refer to the attached instructions with your order (or HERE). If you still have questions, contact me!
Help! I can't find my file after I downloaded it!
Always download your files using your computer or laptop and not a handheld device. Please check your computer's "Download" file, as that is the default location unless you have changed this at some point.
You can always download your order again from your Etsy account if you still cannot find it.
Some items will have download limits after you edit them on Corjl. Please check each listing for specifics.
My files won't open.
Again, please make sure you are only using your computer or laptop to work with your downloadable files and not a handheld device. The files will ONLY open correctly in Corjl or Adobe Reader. If you are on an Apple/MAC, please make sure you are not using Preview. Your file will not work properly.
Some orders are sent as ZIP format and will also need to be extracted or unzipped to your computer. A PC will require WINZIP or WINRAR to unzip your files and save them to your computer. A MAC user will simply double-click on the zip folder to unzip the files.
If you are STILL having problems, either contact me or delete your download and start over. There are rare occasions when a glitch occurs.
Why am I being asked for a password?
If you are attempting to open your file in any other program besides Adobe Reader or via Corjl.com, your files will not open and yes, you will be prompted as the files are password-protected to secure design and text editing. Please try opening the file in the latest version of Adobe Reader. Free HERE.

The fonts don't match the listing/listed items as shown.
If your fonts do not match what you see in the listing of your product, you may have the file open in a different program or outdated Adobe Reader.
Verify you have the latest version here for free: http://get.adobe.com/reader/
If you are copying and pasting from another file, the fonts will also not read correctly as the font attributes may be lost when you paste. Please type all of your information directly into your editable file. The fonts will be included for each item on Corjl for easy editing.
My text won't fit!
Most editable text fields are formatted to automatically fit the text you type into the fields.
If you have extra text that simply won't work in these text boxes, please let me know, as I will happily personalize it for you for free.
My items are printing too small (or too large).
Make sure your printer's settings are set to print at 100% scale, NOT 'scaled to fit' or any other setting. Also, check your paper size and any other settings on your printer that may be affecting this.
The colors look different on my screen.
Please note that colors may look different from screen to screen and screen to printer. Colors can look incredibly different on your handheld device as well. Due to the nature of monitor variations displaying color, The CreativiDee Workshop has made every effort to reflect the true color in each design. Please note that each design is checked in the studio before any sale. The CreativiDee Workshop cannot guarantee color output due to these variations.
Check your ink levels in your printer. Adjust your printer's settings to "photo print," "high-quality print" or "fine print" depending on your printer. The "borderless" option works well. NEVER print at "fast" speed, as this will not create an ideal crisp image. Your choice of paper may affect the color output as well. For more info, click HERE.
I can't save after editing my files.
After you have completed your personalization on Corjl, you will be able to download your newly edited item(s) to your computer or laptop. There might be a limit on downloads depending on your item. Please check the details in the item's listing.
Also, if you have an item that is being edited in Adobe PDF, please verify that you have the very latest Adobe Reader version on your computer or laptop. Older versions may not let you save your files.
Why can't I edit the colors, graphics or add a photo?
As the listings state, the editable files only include the capability of editing the text. The graphics, colors, and fonts cannot be edited by you. If you need further customizing of an item, please contact me.
My MAC won't open the files.
If you are editing a file that requires Adobe Reader, please make sure you are opening the files in the latest version of Adobe Reader and NOT in Preview!

How do I order an item?
It's easy to order online! Choose your item, add to cart, securely purchase, and receive your receipt via your email. There will be a link to access your files to edit and download depending on the format you have purchased (Adobe PDF or Corjl). This will be clearly stated in each product's listing.
How do I access my order?
Once you have completed your payment, you will receive an email receipt with a link to your purchased items. This may link to Corjl or a simple download depending on what item(s) you have purchased.
Please check your 'Junk' or 'Spam' email box if you haven't received your confirmation email in a timely manner. Also, verify your email associated with your Etsy account is your current email if you have purchased on that platform.
When can I see a proof?
Proofs will not come directly from me, but you can always test your item on Corjl before you purchase via the test link in the listing.
I've changed my mind, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of these digital items, I do not provide any refunds or exchanges, so please be confident in your purchase!
If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me ASAP, so we can troubleshoot the problem together.

How do I access my files?
Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive a notification via email from Etsy that your download or Corjl link is ready. Please download your files from your computer and not a handheld device for best results.
If you have purchased an Adobe PDF, You will need the latest FREE version of Adobe Reader to open and edit (where applicable) the files. When you have opened your email, click on the attached file link and download it to your computer to save. Then open that item in Adobe, not your web browser or Preview on a Mac.
If you have ordered an item that can be edited on Corjl, you will receive an email with that link where you can then log in to your account and edit your items (where applicable).
Can I change the graphics, fonts, colors or add a photo?
Each listing will specify what can be edited by you. Most graphics, colors, and layouts will NOT be editable. Most text WILL be. Please read each description thoroughly before your purchase so you fully understand what you can edit.
Should you need further customizing or have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
Do I need to install fonts for editing?
No. All fonts are embedded within your PDF file for both Adobe Reader and Corjl.

PAPER & PRiNTING tiPS
Is it easy to print at home?
I print 99% of my items in my home office. I use an inkjet printer on bright white matte card stock. (See paper info below.) However, you know your own printer qualities better than I do. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this and I will do my best to help you out.
Printer settings recommendations: Print on your white card stock or premium photo paper and set your printer's settings to borderless, marginless or full bleed for 8.5" x 11" (or A4 for international customers) to ensure proper scale of items. Change your output settings to High, Photo Print (matte paper) or your printer's best print setup. This will ensure proper color output and crisp printing.
Can I print or upload my files to a copy shop?
Yes! It's easy to have your files printed at Office Max/Depot, Staples, or the like. First, edit your files, proof, re-proof, and then save to your computer. Verify that your selected copy shop has the option to upload PDF files or your files will not be able to be accepted printed. Most do, but it's always best to check! You can also download your files to a flash drive and bring your flash drive to the store for them to upload and print directly there.
Choose a bright white glossy or silk-heavy card stock to print on. Ask for a sample sheet from the store if you are unsure which one you'd prefer!

Some places will require a print release to print Copyrighted materials. You can find The CreativiDee's Print Release HERE.
Can I print or upload my files to a photo printing lab?
No. Unfortunately, you will not be able to upload your PDF files to a photo lab (Costco, Walgreens, Vistaprint, Walmart, etc.) without your files being saved or converted to a JPG or PNG. Please contact me to convert these files for you.
What type of paper do you recommend for party collections and invitations?
I love to use 90lb or 110lb bright white card stock, which prints clean and is not too heavy to trim - I have also used 65lb card stock from time to time, but prefer the heavier weight, especially for party items to things I will laminate. Premium-weight photo paper is another great option in matte or soft gloss. Some will be just fine to print on regular print paper as well. There truly is no right or wrong. These types of paper can be found at office supply stores, craft stores, big box stores & online. Again, if you would like help, please contact me.
Paper types for any item in the shop:

Bright White Heavy Card Stock (90 to 110lb) - Best for party collection items, routine charts, routine cards, gift tags, items you'd like to laminate, countdowns, craft items, etc. (Card stock is my favorite!)

Matte or Soft Gloss Photo Paper: Also great for party collection items, invitations, charts (if framing)

Full Sheet Sticker Paper: Perfect for address labels, envelope seals, gift labels, or anything you'd love to turn into a sticker!

Regular Printer Paper: Planners, charts (if framing or printing a new one regularly), prints (to frame), etc.
What size frames do you recommend for charts?
Since the charts are sized to print at 8.5" x 11", please use a document size frame for your charts. I use frames from IKEA that work perfectly for us with a dry erase marker. Please note that you will have to trim the paper slightly to fit the IKEA frames.
Do I have to print all of the files that my purchased item has?
No. You can always choose what page or pages to print when prompted on your printer's setting screen before you print. ​
Can I print the labels on Avery label paper or items set with a template?
No. Unfortunately, the files are not designed to match with any pre-set templates. Please use a full sheet of sticker paper or other applicable paper to print and trim with scissors or a paper punch instead.

Some older files in the shop will require Adobe Reader and will not be available to edit via Corjl. Do not worry! It's easy but does require you to download the free Adobe Reader to your computer before you edit.
